The shell thickness is determined with a special measuring probe.
A “normal” micrometer probe has two parallel measuring surfaces. These are unsuitable for determining the shell thickness due to the curvature of the eggshell. We therefore supply a special measuring probe with a rounded contact surface. We offer a practical probe holder to match the probe.
The micrometer is available with or without data output. As data output we offer probes with RS232 interface or Mitutoyo Digimatic interface.
The probe can be connected directly to your computer.
